Train Wreck
An alternate universe music video where the 4400 never existed and Kyle is just a struggling college kid who fell in with the wrong crowd and became strung out on promicin, twisted around here to look like the newest drug of choice. As he falls into severe addiction and depression, his "parents and two brothers" struggle to deal with what's happening and desperately try to save him from himself. Styled to look like a home movie. For someone who is generally uninterested in both AU videos and special effects, this is a massive departure from normal for me. But what can I say? This song just hit the right creative sparks. Please keep in mind this has absolutely nothing to do with the show. Promicin isn't a street drug, Kyle isn't an addict or delinquent, he doesn't die and this video doesn't show anything remotely related to the actual story of the series. Fast paced music overview covering the darker, more intense aspects of the series, focusing on the chaos that ensues following the return of The 4400 as they struggle to control their new abilities, accept the purpose they've been given and find a place in the world even as the government does its best to put them down and suppress the promicin revolution. A lot of people mistakenly thought that the show was, in fact, a drama about drug addiction after seeing Train Wreck, so this is a followup to show the series as the intense scifi ride that it actually is.
