Seeing Red
Character study of the psychopathic brothers, Dexter and Brian. Heavy focus on season one, looking at their complex, tragic relationship and the nightmare from their childhood that left them so disturbed. This is one of the few videos in my collection that uses such heavy effects, but I wanted the visuals to fit the title and theme, so I drove myself crazy finding the right balance to make it look a bit like a film of blood on the screen. Dexter Morgan: caring brother, loving boyfriend, devoted stepfather, raging psychopath. A character study of the double life this likeable, awkward lab geek who just happens to be a highly disturbed serial killer. Focuses on his warped life throughout seasons one and two. (September 14th, 2009)
