A Strange Twist of Events

Set a few years after Order of the Phoenix, this is an alternate path for the prophecy storyline. It's centered around Harry and Neville after the latter has brutally murdered Bellatrix, and builds on Rowling's idea of Voldemort creating his own downfall by choosing Harry, when the propechy was in fact meant for the Longbottoms.

I wrote this shortly after OotP (the book) was released, and before the Goblet of Fire film. So obviously, it's got my own interpretations instead of those the films later portrayed. The story is told through third person omniscient, but jumps back and forth between Harry and Neville's individual perspectives. As a warning, Neville is a hell of a lot darker than you've ever known him.
