I love that this piece is primarily an instrumental, which allowed for the incorporation of a good bit of dialogue, but also has a section with these very dark spoken words. There's something hypnotic about the track; the music is incredibly intense and having this portion with the voice coming in makes it that much creepier. The lyrics also perfectly capture what I would think is going on inside Ed's fractured mind as he descends deeper and deeper into the psychosis and obsession fueled by severe childhood abuse.
